The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Civil Services Examination 2023 results on its official website. Candidates who have undergone the personality test can now access their results online.
The UPSC Civil Service Prelims Examination 2023 was held on May 28. Candidates who cleared the Prelims round were eligible to appear for the Mains examination, which took place on September 15, 16, 17, 23, and 24, 2023, in two shifts – from 9 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm. The UPSC CSE Mains results were announced on December 8.
Steps to check UPSC CSE 2023 Final Results:
- Visit the official website upsc.gov.in.
- Find the link that says ‘Civil Service Examinations 2023 Final Results’ under the What’s New section on the homepage.
- A new window will open with the PDF with the candidates who cleared the exam.
- Download the PDF and keep a printout for future reference.

According to the latest information, 664 of the 1,016 candidates recommended by the Commission for appointment to various services are men, and 352 are women. Three of the top five candidates successfully qualified are men, and two are women.
Reacting to the result, Aditya Srivastava, posted it on X (formerly Twitter) and shared a screenshot of the result with his name highlighted. In the caption, he expressed, “एक दिन वर्षों का संघर्ष,बहुत खूबसूरत तरीके से तुमसे टकरायेगा..!!”
The UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023 was conducted to fill 1,105 vacancies in various central government services and departments, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
