Animals are a delight to the heart and so we need to take good care of them at all times. A Veterinarian in India would diagnose, treat, and research medical conditions and diseases of pets, livestock, and other animals. Veterinarians treat illnesses and injuries, conduct surgical and medical procedures and dental work, and vaccinate animals against diseases and unwanted disorders. To become a veterinary doctor you should study the following things: Complete an undergraduate degree in either biological or physical sciences. Undergraduate degrees must focus on chemistry, biology, zoology, physiology, microbiology and anatomy.

Earn the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited veterinary schools.

Entrance Exams:

NEET is necessary for pursuing veterinary studies in India.
