UPSC CDS declares Results

The exam result of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) (I) 2019 has been declared. There were 196 candidates altogether who have qualified the exams. The UPSC exam was conducted in September 2019 and the Service selection board of the Ministry of Defence interviewed the selection of the candidates in their respective choices.  The exam is conducted every year.

This year the topper of the combined Defence services of the Union Public Service Commission is Suresh Chandra, who has been selected for the Indian Military Academy. The name of the second candidate is Shaurya Ahlawat who has been chosen in the India Naval Academy. The third candidate is Parvesh Kumar, the who has been selected in the Air Force Academy.

All these three students have been congratulated and their selection to the academy has been celebrated. The three of them worked hard to excel in the examination.

The combined defence services 2 examinations are conducted to provide admission to the 149th (DE) Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. Also, the exam has been conducted to provide admission to the India Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerela.  Additionally, the admission to the Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training course was to be taken place. The training course number is 208 F(P) course.

The UPSC has also notified to verify the details of the candidates with respected to date of birth, educational qualification and so on. The candidates have been instructed to send forwards their certification to their selected institutions for the verification. Also, the Photostat attested copies must be sent to their selected academies that are, the Army headquarters, the Naval Headquarters and the Air headquarters as per their choices. The graduates with their first respective choices in Army/ Navy/ Air force have to submit either their proof of graduation or provisional certificate on the date of commencement of the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview at Service Selection Board (SSB).

The result has been declared in upsc.gov.in. The marks will be shown on the websites after the declaration of the final results of the Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) for the combined Defence service examination (II), 2019. The educational qualification or education degree from a recognized university or equivalent to get admission in the Indian Military Academy (IMA) and officers’ Training Academy, Chennai. The Indian Naval Academy requires a degree in engineering from a recognized university. For getting admission into Air Force Academy one must either owe a degree of a recognized university with Physics and B Mathematics at 10+2 level or a bachelor of engineering.

The civil services examination is a tough examination that recruits the selected candidates in the top government organization like Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Administrative Service (IAS), an Indian Forest Service, Indian Trade Services (ITrS) and so on. The exam is conducted once a year. It is conducted in three phases- preliminary phase, Main examination and interview phase. The age limit for the examination is 21 years to 32 years. There has been a relaxation in the age group of the reserved candidates.

The important dates for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) CDS exam have been released. The Combined Defence Service (CDS) (I) exam of 2020 was held in February. The Combined Defence Service (CDS) (II) examination is scheduled to be held on the 8th Of November.

The number of vacancies in the Indian Military Academy is 100. Out of 100 seats, 13 seats are reserved for the National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘C’ Certificate. 45 seats are reserved for the students of the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerela. Only 06 seats are reserved for the National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘C’ Certificate holders. 32 seats are reserved for the Air Force Academy, Hyderabad out of which 03 seats are reserved for the National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘C’ Certificate (Airwing) holders.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has also declared the dates of examining Combined Defence Service (CDS) (I) of 2021 and Combined Defence Service (CDS) (II) of 2021. The Combined Defence Service (CDS) (I) exam notice will be declared on October 28 and the exam is scheduled to be held in February. The specific date for the examination is on 7th Of February, 2021. The notice for the examination of the CDS (II) will be declared on August 4, 2021, and the date of the examination is to be scheduled on November 12, 2021.

The exam helps the candidates to engage with the top government services. These candidates help the nation to become better in future. The results have given a clear hope that the students have worked hard. The UPSC exams have helped the students to achieve their goals.
