We have all dreamt of studying abroad. Many Indian middle-class families can afford the fees of international universities today. This has created a new pace for globalization. The universities are going through a loss as many students are reluctant to take admission in international universities. This has created a wide range of confusion amongst the students and parents to choose better colleges for higher education. Every colleges and university are going through a crisis. The students are a little confident and have started to apply for foreign universities. The admission procedure worldwide has started and the students are showing confidence and faith in the institutions. Many students have decided to study in their home universities but the reopening of foreign universities have started that may lead to some changes in the decisions. Amidst of all these circumstances, students of Delhi University has approached the Delhi High Court over the issue of result declaration. As per the officials of Delhi University (DU), almost 180 of the Undergraduate (UG) students and 8 students of Post- Graduation (PG) have applied for the admission in the foreign universities for their higher studies. The Delhi High Court has ordered Delhi University (DU) to declare the result of the students as early as possible. The procedure to apply in the foreign universities will not be fulfilled if the results are undeclared and the closing dates are knocking its way. The late declaration of the results may hamper the career of students. The delay in the declaration of results may affect the career of students and stagger the procedure of admission in foreign universities.

Delhi University (DU) Result Declaration
Justice Hima Kohli and Justice Subramonium Prasad have issued a certain time to the University to bring out some solution over this issue. The next hearing was on 14th Of September, 2020. The issue of result declaration has staggered the admission of many students in the foreign university. Many students have applied for the foreign universities but as the results are not declared, the procedure has been stagnant. Advocate Mohinder Rupal has taken up the matter from the side of Delhi University. He said that the officials were trying to figure out some positive solution to help the students. The anxious students of the final year of Undergraduate (UG) courses have asked for the comfort letters and requested to declare the results as soon as possible. Delhi University (DU) has been trying to ensure some positive solution to this unique problem. The university has issued and notified its affiliated colleges to carry out the procedure soon. The matter has been listed in the priority list. The students pursuing the post-Graduation have asked for the comfort letters as well. They have been prioritized. The results of the Post Graduate students may be declared confidentially, they are not graded otherwise.
The issue had been brought forth when Delhi High Court was dealing with some petitions on the assessment of the final year students. The petitions were related to open book exams. The Delhi University (DU) declared that results would be out by the end of October. The High Court sought for the elucidation of the evaluation process of final year students of Undergraduate. The University has provided that there must be no delay in the declaration of result if no comparative methods are to be used.
The High Court asked the university to submit details on the number of students asking for the comfort letters from the university to travel abroad and seek admission in the international university. The subject streams of the students must be mentioned along with the details.
Advocate Joginder Sukhija had filed a petition for an early declaration of result as his daughter would take admission in the renowned Cambridge University. Advocate Sukhija stated that although, Delhi University (DU) had drafted the comfort letter it was proved to be insufficient as the closing date of the admission at Cambridge University is 10th October 2020.
