Exam Updates
  • The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has issued a Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Save A Year/Improvement exam schedule. The Kerala SSLC Save A Year/Improvement exam will be held from 28 May 2024 to 6 June 2024. 
  • The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an important update for students taking the CUET (UG) 2024 examination at Delhi centres. Students can download the admit cards from the official website https://nta.ac.in/Cuetexam  using their registration number, password, and registered mobile number. 
  • TS TET admit cards for the state Teacher Eligibility Test will be released today, May 16, 2024, by the Telangana Department of School Education. The exam will be taken in two shifts, Paper 1 and Paper 2, from May 20 to June 2, 2024, with timings from 9 AM to 11:30 AM and 2 PM to 4:30 PM. Visit the official website https://tstet2024.aptonline.in/tstet/  to download the admit card. 
  • The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will close the correction window for the NEET-PG 2024 today, 16 May 2024. Registered candidates who wish to make changes to their details can do so by visiting the official website of the board at natboard.edu.in. 
  • The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started accepting registrations for the July 2024 admissions. Candidates can opt for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) courses through the university’s official website at ignouadmissions.samarth.edu.in and the online courses at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. The last date for submission of the application is June 30, 2024. 
  • The Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Madras will release the JEE Advanced 2024 Admit Card tomorrow, 17 May 2024. Candidates can download the hall tickets from the official website jeeadv.ac.in. 
  • The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will commence the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agricultural, and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) today, 16 May 2024. The examination schedule has been divided into numerous days and sessions. Each day will feature two sessions: one from 9 am to 12 pm and another from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. 
  • The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), has released the HBSE Re-appear Exam July 2024 Schedule today, 16 May. Students can check the schedule by visiting the board’s official website at https://bseh.org.in/.
Results Announced
  • The ICSI released the CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) May 2024 results today, 16 May 2024. Candidates can view their results at icsi.edu by entering their date of birth and roll number.
Higher Education Updates
  • The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education  (WBCHSE) plans to conduct camps to familiarize school principals with the semester-based education system. Workshops for north and south Kolkata schools are scheduled for 16 May and 17 May 2024.
  • Allahabad University PG Admission 2024 applications through PGAT will begin today, 16 May 2024, and the last date to submit the forms is 5 June 2024. Students can register on the official website allduniv.ac.in.
  • Applications for Kerala’s Higher Secondary Centralised Admission (HSCA) plus 1 study in Science, Commerce, Arts, or Vocational Fields will start today, 16 May 2024. The candidates can check the official website for further announcements. 
  • The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD) today launched a certificate programme in Data Analytics for Business Applications. This programme is set to begin on 30 June 2024.  The course duration is six months, and candidates will be awarded a certificate upon completion. Candidates must register on the IIT Delhi portal to apply for this course. 
Government Educational Initiatives
  • The Rajasthan Education Department has issued guidelines prohibiting private schools from increasing fees for three academic years. Under the Fees Act, action may be taken against schools that violate these guidelines, and any extra fees collected from parents may have to be returned.
